Bon Vivant
Club, Since 2001
Bon Vivant Club has provided
fresh and innovative daytime programming for older adults and their
care giving families.
Adults are living much longer than ever
before. In many ways a “new” generation has developed (75 to 100
years old). There are few programs that focus on this age
group.
At Bon Vivant, our goal is to provide a program that
keeps purpose in the daily lives of our elderly and to support
families that manage the care of their loved ones inside the
home.
|
We invite you to stop by for a tour of “The
Club”. Learn more about our services, talk with the “members”. See
first hand how our program encourages well being for the individual
and their caregivers!
Our elderly are still a very vital part
of society. They need not sit and wait for everyone else to live a
life around them. As Oliver Wendel Holmes so eloquently wrote: “WE
DO NOT QUIT PLAYING BECAUSE WE GROW OLD; WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE QUIT
PLAYING.” At Bon Vivant Adult Day Club, fun is a priority and a
great start to feeling better TODAY!

day. She feels useful and needed again. Everyone young and old needs
to feel needed." "Bon Vivant has given my mother a meaningful life,
she does not just exist until her time here is up." — Janet,
Daughter of Doris, Member

live with me a few months ago-quite unexpectedly-and still out of
the question to him." "After the first week with him I realized that

needed to make my decision." "This is the place for my dad. At my

"I hear, in the lilt of her
voice and the enthusiasm with which she discusses the club and club
activities, how happy she is. and I have been amazed that in less
than a month , she is remembering things, even details, that seemed
beyond her...for some time." "Before she joined Bon Vivant, Mom was
depressed and lonely. She seemed to have lost interest in doing much
of anything." "During the past year it was getting harder to engage
Mon in conversation; she could not remember much of what she had

"stupid" because she was so forgetful." "She no longer sounds
depressed when I talk to her now; in fact she sounds in great
spirits, and once again has taken an interest in life." "I am
